Deming was born out of a personal need—and a simple question:
Why does recovery have to mean giving up style?
Reshma discovered the restorative benefits of recovery footwear while training for the NYC Marathon and balancing the demands of a busy New York City life. When her husband Vijay was recovering from an injury and living in recovery slides, nothing on the market looked or felt refined enough for how he wanted to show up in the world.
Determined to find him something better, Reshma and Vijay joined forces — partnering with leading physicians, engineers, and master artisans to completely reimagine what recovery footwear could be. Together, they built not just advanced recovery technology but the first all-day recovery dress shoe: an innovative blend of orthopedic support, thoughtful design, and timeless craftsmanship.
